Finish the Kamo tutorial
Talk to Chief Farris, take one starter weapon from Vulcan, unlock the broom, and clear the first F-rank mission before you chase a grimoire.
Get a grimoire at Wisdoms Peak
At level 15, Arcane Whispers sends you to Wisdoms Peak. Embrace the portal, talk to the Announcer, and read the seven real roll weights before you reroll.
Reroll magic, race, and family
Magic can change through a shop reroll, a boss drop, or a wipe that drops the grimoire. Race and family survive a wipe.
Reach level 15 for magic
Clear the one-time Kamo quests, then loop the 10-minute repeats. The two 200 EXP quests are A True Hunt and Waking Nightmare.
Learn the combat controls
Attack with the left mouse button, critical with R, block or parry on F, and dodge with Q. Controller layout is not published.
Quest rewards and wagon wheels
Every documented Kamo and Mushroom quest, with EXP, Marks, and the three wagon-wheel spots for Old Man Adelfus.
Choose a weapon class and raise proficiency
Vulcan's starter locks light, medium, or heavy until a wipe. Proficiency past 3 needs Percival and locks the other classes.
Augment, evolve, and master the grimoire
Level 50 opens the Nexus Cathedral augment quest. Level 70 opens evolution. Mastery is a separate 50,000 point track.
Spend stats and raise professions
Six stats cover health, mana, resolve, magic, physical hits, and movement. The Lady of the Lake resets them. Five professions each have six tiers.
Read a family name before you reroll it
Twenty-six surnames in four rarities. Clover, Anchor, Morningstar, and Chrono are the legendary buffs. Roll weights are not settled.
Find each boss and the summon item
Seven bosses are named. Bael needs a Cursed Bell, Vaelor needs a Horn of Calling, and Arachne is summoned with three Alke materials.
Release timing and the undated changelog
Guides place the PC and console release on October 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM EDT. The public changelog lists balance and bug fixes without dates.
