The release gate is level 15
Early access and some older notes used level 10. On the October 23, 2026 release, Arcane Whispers is added automatically at level 15. Track it in the journal with J. You cannot pick the element. Spatial is in the config at 0% weight and cannot be rolled. There is no verified pity that turns a long drought into Time.
Climb the island
- Open the map with M and travel to Wisdoms Peak, the floating island in Kamo. Some notes spell it Wisdom Peak.
- At the base, use the portal and choose Embrace it. Brooms have an altitude limit, so flying to the top is the worse route.
- Talk to the NPC outside the tower, go inside, and talk to the Announcer.
- The Magic Ceremony awakens the grimoire. Press Tab to read it.
What you can roll
| Magic | Chance | Skills | Passives | Variants on the detail page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flame | 22% | 6 | 4 | Amaterasu (weight 0 |
| Light | 22% | 6 | 2 | Moon |
| Wind | 20% | 7 | 2 | Crimson only on the Wind detail page |
| Lightning | 15% | 6 | 3 | The variant table lists Storm 8%, Solar 5%, Verdant 4%, Bloodstorm 2%, and Ignis 1% |
| Shadow | 15% | 6 | 2 | The Shadow detail page says there are no cosmetic variants |
| Beast | 5% | 6 | 0 | The Beast detail page lists no cosmetic variants |
| Time | 1% | 6 | 3 | The Time detail page lists no cosmetic variants |
Detail pages and the overview table disagree on several variant names. The table above follows each magic's own page. Variants are cosmetic. An overview that adds Holy to Flame, extra Wind colors, or variants for Shadow, Beast, and Time is not repeated as fact when the detail page says otherwise.
After the ceremony
Documented trainers: Light in Kamo Village, Flame at Twilight Tombs, Shadow in Elden Forest. Wind's Boreas, and trainers for Lightning, Beast, and Time, are not pinned down. At level 50 the augment quest starts. At level 70 the evolution quest starts. Passives come from the Grimoire Echo, not from the ceremony itself.
If the roll is one you will not play, use the reroll guide. Do not wipe just to change race. A wipe keeps race and family.
